So Tammy and Seth came down and helped us ring in the New Year! We always love when they come down to hang out with us! We went to Ninja for an early dinner so we would beat any crowds! Then came back home and watched a good show and played some games, watched some fireworks off our patio, and ate lots of yummy snacks! They introduced us to creme brulee! It was So tasty and fun to melt the sugar on top...except I really did think we were going to burn our house down, but we didn't and I am so grateful! Thanks again for coming down you guys! Marcus and I are really excited about the new year and the new fun things that Braxtyn will learn!!! This year may be the funnest yet!

oh so precious! I love watching Braxtyn while he sleeps and that's ok because I'm his mom:) Love how he always puts his hands up by his head or else they are straight out like he's flying.

Christmas was so great this year and I cannot believe it will be 2012 soon!...that will be fun to get use to writing, I mean gees I was barely getting use to writing 2011, oh well!
We were able to head up to Cedar Hills on Wednesday afternoon and were up there till this morning and now we are in Leamington. It really is nice being able to visit both sides of the family on holidays, we are so lucky! My brother Josh and his family traveled from Virginia and it was so fun to be able to spend time with them-it's been WAY to long. The weekend consisted of a successful Hill Christmas party, family pictures, visiting the Living Planet Aquarium, admiring the lights at Temple Square, giving & receiving gifts, and of course eating lots of yummy food and holiday treats!...Speaking of receiving gifts, Marcus surprised me with a new camera which I cannot wait to learn more about and hopefully get good at using! I want to get a nice program to put on my computer so if any of you have suggestions they are welcome:)
Braxtyn is doing great and just growing like crazy every single day! He is VERY close to rolling over but I think his chub is making it a little bit difficult! He is loving his toys more and more lately! He is 17 weeks tomorrow! Our pediatrician is going to talk to us about using cereals at his next appt. on the 10th of January...That should be a fun experience! He laughs now and loves to talk, and his mom and dad are his FAVORITE:) We love our little boy so much!

Braxtyn was sleeping when Santa came onto the train and we pretty much just threw him in Santa's arms for a picture ha I think he was a little surprised! But he didn't cry or anything ha

So Marcus got an interview down in Arizona at Midwestern University, so we decided to take a road trip! I was mostly worried about Braxtyn and how he would do in the car but he was AWESOME he just pretty much slept the whole way, there were a few times when he needed me to get back and play with him but I won't complain about that:) We had so much fun on our first little road trip/vacation with the 3 of us!

I gave Brax tubs in the hotel sink and, yes he loved it!

...The interview went well and Marcus is on an alternate list for midwestern, but just received another interview invitation at Western in California! He is finishing up finals this week and has 1 semester left at SUU! Yay!

We were able to bless our sweet Braxtyn the Saturday after Thanksgiving! Everything turned out so perfect and Marcus gave his son a Beautiful blessing! Thanksgiving in Leamington! Thanks for letting us come! Brook did an Awesome job on the turkey! We definitely had and daily have so very much to be thankful for! Now we can get excited for Christmas YAY!!!

My Brother Ty got home from his 2 year mission in Brazil! This was his first time meeting Brax! After I took the picture I went back in the nursery and they were both asleep in the glider! So Cute! We are so happy he's home safe and just in time for the holidays!!!

Braxtyn is always doing funny things with his hands! They have to be moving and free at all times! His hands are usually cold because he gets mad when we try to put them under blankets! So funny!

One night while visiting my parents the boys all went out on this last minute crazy adventure and wouldn't tell any of us (except Shirley) where they were going! They got on big boots and clothes they could get dirty and headed out the door!...Came home like an hour later with bags full of dirty golf balls! I'm not saying from where! Crazy guys! They had fun though! and I just need to add in that I'm sure Gabe was the master mind-he is probably most Crazy of them all:) love ya Gaber!

Cannot believe that it is November already and my little Brother gets home in like 3 days! Wow! Marcus had his interview at Duke University this past Wednesday and his dad was able to go with him and they had a blast! Marcus said he felt good about the interview so we will keep our fingers crossed for another acceptance! Good Job Marco!

This is Brax and his sweet little cousin Keely (not sure that I spelled that right). They are exactly 4 weeks apart! Keely was a beautiful little bunny...but she didn't love her costume, as you can see! But the Halloween party was another success and we had so much fun spending time with family, but sure missed Kara and her family!

We are all doing good. It snowed this last Wednesday and I couldn't believe it but it melted the same morning so I am fine with that. This week is suppose to be warm though so that will be good... I am not quite ready for winter time!

My Great Grandpa Ethington died about a week ago at 97 years old! What a nice man he always was the few times I remember visiting with him! But I'm sure he is happy to be reunited with his wife again!

Work is going great I just work mornings and Marcus is doing great in School. In two Wednesdays he has his interview at Duke which we are really excited about! He will do Awesome!

Ty gets home so soon and it's coming so fast! only like 3 more weeks now and I cannot believe it! love ya ty! It will be so good to see you again!

What a Crazy Month!

OK so I am relived to have September over with...don't get me wrong it was an amazing month! But it just seemed like it was so busy but I guess that is probably how life will be now with our lil guy, I'm sure that I will get use to it. The week of conference was absolutely crazy...We had Grandpa Pace's viewing and funeral Sunday and Monday, then Marcus came back for his classes and I went up and was able to stay at Shay's since my parents were up in Salt Lake celebrating their 30 year anniversary! Congrats Mom and Dad, Love you both so much! Then on Tuesday night Marcus drove to Cedar Hills so that we could drive up to Primary Childrens hospital the next morning to meet with the craniofacial plastic surgeon for Braxtyn's consult about his cleft palate. He gave us some very good news that Braxtyn is just missing a little part of his soft palate and it can be fixed with a quick 1-2 hour surgery and he will hopefully only have to stay one night after they do the surgery if everything goes well, but they can't do it until he is 9 months old so we will have to be patient. I think the missing palate has affected his sucking ability a little bit and I want to thanks everyone who has helped and been patient with me while trying to figure out how to help him gain weight...hopefully he will just start gaining really well!

Marcus flew out to his interview at ATSU in Arizona on Thursday from Salt Lake and came home Friday and we headed down to his parents to watch conference...We got news the following Monday that he was accepted to the PA program at Quinnipiac in Connecticut! so it is nice to know that we will be going somewhere for sure for Grad school! Pretty Exciting! WAY TO GO MARCUS! lOVE YOU!

Tammy and Seth came and visited this last weekend and we had a blast! Thanks for hanging out with us! Love you guys!

I start work tomorrow so this week should be interesting! I know marcus will do awesome with Brax while I'm gone and I'm so excited for them to form a different kind of bond even though Marcus already loves him so much. He always calls him his little Buddy and I just love it!

BRAXTYN BROOK PACE!!!

Here he is! Our little Braxtyn Boy! What a sweet little baby and a fun first week this has been! Here are some pictures and I will write more at a different time but right now I need to get some rest since he has just gone to bed for a little while! Here I am again! Ha but this time Braxtyn is 39 Weeks and 1 Day old:) and yes I had to add the one day part because at this point we are counting every second pretty much that he decides to stay in that nice comfy home(aka: my tummy! Which have I mentioned how excited I am to have back to myself and to be able to hold him in my arms instead... all nestled up in little cute outfits and snug blankets!..I really am ECSTATIC!!!). At my Dr. visit last Tuesday(so almost a week ago) I was at a "good" 3 and 70%, so all week I had my hopes up thinking something would happen and I would get to have him a week early...No such luck:) But I still feel great and have been so blessed to feel as good as I do!

Marcus started his second to last semester here at SUU this past week and has already gotten 4 interviews to PA Schools so we are very optimistic and so excited for all of these changes that seem to be happening all at once!

Hopefully this will be my last belly post before the baby...Don't know about all of you but I am ready to start seeing some cute baby instead of all these "cute" tummy pics! ha! Thanks for all of your comments throughout me being pregnant they really have helped me more than you could know! So thanks again!

38 weeks...CRAZY!

Well, Braxtyn is now 38 weeks old! And I still cannot believe I am this pregnant! I feel great, and have been so lucky to have an easy pregnancy so far! Marcus loves golfing and starts school next week so we went this morning and Marcus even let us walk so that I could get some exercise! I had so much fun and it was a beautiful morning! We had our Dr. visit this last Tuesday and I was dilated to a 2+! But haven't felt any different all week, and I am still able to do everything like normal! We are just trying to wait patiently and I'm sure Brax will come when he is ready(just have to keep reminding myself of that)! But we are getting very anxious to meet him so hopefully he comes soon and everything goes smoothly!

So this is Braxtyn at 36 weeks and a day:) This last week flew by and I feel like the days go by like seconds! Our little boy will be here before we know it so I am trying to stay up to date with the blog so I don't have to be playing catch up when he does come...I mean I'm sure I won't be busy or anything trying to learn how to be a mom! Yay! I am so Excited!!! I have been feeling great lately and just trying to keep doing what I do! Still working and all that because I don't even feel like I should be nine months pregnant but I really do notice that he grows everyday, and I can't believe it, I just hope he is getting really strong in my tummy so we can play with him lots when he gets here:)

So my little brothers Gabe and Shawn came down and spent the weekend with Marcus and I and we went out to 2,000 flushes for them to see what the water was like...Cannot believe that they actually got in! But the water is way cool! Thanks for coming down guys we had a blast!

Everyone did such an amazing job planning this shower! I thought that everything came together perfectly! The Diaper cake was so cute and the treats were so yummy! Thanks to all who were there to support Marcus and I! We appreciate everyone so much!

We went on a Mini Vacation in Salt Lake with the Pace family on my week off and went to Kowabunga water park! It was so perfect for the little kiddos, not too big a place like seven peaks or something, just perfect!! and I absolutely loved soaking up the sun! I didn't want to chance going on any of the slides-even though I'm sure I would have been fine but yeah just wanted to be safe, and let Brax keep on doing what he's best at...GROWING!

My mom has the pics from Brax's baby shower up in Orem- which was a real success and I was so lucky to see so much family and spend time talking! I had an amazing time! Thanks so much to my sisters and mother for planning it all... and a special thanks to my Aunt Denise and Uncle Kevin for letting us have it in their beautiful backyard! But the picture above is of us dropping off my Sister Tammy at the airport to go back and be with Seth in Denver where they have been all summer selling. She was so sweet to fly all the way home just for the weekend to be at the shower! Thanks again Tam girl!

This is my handsome nephew Boston-Boy! I just love his Blue eyes and Blonde hair they are my favorite and I just think they make him look so darn handsome! He is at such a fun age where he just learned to walk not to long ago and the two pictures below are of him before he tried to walk, right after being on the swing when I don't think he had his balance quite well enough, and he fell right into the leg of the swing set, Hitting the same spot on his forehead that he hit earlier that morning under my watch!(above pic) ha he probably still has the goose-egg! Poor lil guy!

Little Brooklyn was being so cute and one night out of nowhere just started talking about Braxtyn like he was there...she would say:"Braxtyn weally wants to jump with me"(when she wanted me to jump with her on the trampoline)...Then I told her that we should go swing since I can't jump so good without feeling like Brax is going to fall out! and while we were swinging she said:"Braxtyn really likes swinging with us! He thinks it's so fun!" and then would just kinda start to giggle! Ha I loved it! She mentioned multiple times how she can't wait to hold him! What a stinking cute little cousin she will be! I can't wait for her to get to hold him too!

Marcus and I were able to go up to Tremonton last weekend to help bless little baby Sam! We had a blast being with family and going on a little trip. The blessing was perfect...but the driving, Not so Fun! No it really wasn't too bad as long as I could stay cool, because my feet and ankles already start to swell when I get too warm! So Much Fun! I really am enjoying being pregnant though it is quite fun to feel Brax always kicking me and keeping me on my toes:) It's just weird lately I feel like every time I look down at my tummy it has gotten bigger, and never ceases to stop growing! I just do my best each day to help him be healthy and strong!

Gotta love Jon and the boys who just couldn't help but want to make our picture beautiful! Silly guys!

So this is my "28" Week photo of little Brax! ha my tummy just sticks straight out! kinda makes me laugh! So crazy that he is just living in there...I hope that he has enough room;) My back is completely arched out now even when I try to straighten it, ha it's stuck that way!...one week it started to get way sore-Thank heaven for Chiropractors and getting adjusted, ever since then I really haven't had any trouble! Had my Dr. appt. this morning and got to do my glucose test, What a yummy Drink that was for breakfast!!! My Dr. said everything looked really good, just that the baby was still measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule so she wants to see me back in two weeks just to measure him again! Please bump my due date up 2 weeks that would absolutely ROCK! Ha can you tell that I am ready to be done already and I'm only getting started on the hard part! We just cannot wait to see what he looks like, and finally meet him!!!

So this is me at 24 weeks with baby! I definitely look bigger in person that's for sure. I'm thinking I might need to start doing belly pics like ever two weeks because he makes my tummy grow, it feels like, every single day!!! But I am just happy that he is growing and I get to feel him move constantly throughout the day, and whenever I do I get this big smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach because I GET TO BE A MOTHER SOON!!! So Marcus and I have a new ritual we like to do lately, when we come home from our long days and I finally get to sit down that is when Brax likes to move around and play! So he was kicking and I put Marcos hand on my tummy and he said something like..."What a cool guy!, That was awesome!, I wish I was pregnant so I could feel him kick all day!" I thought it was so cute and I cannot wait for Baby Brax to meet his Dad that's so excited to play with him! I had to share because I thought it was so fun to hear him be so excited! Keep growing little Brax!!!

Well this is a pic of me at 20 weeks, guess I better start posting pictures since I'm half way done!...Which I am way excited about! But I just can't imagine still having another 4 and a half months to go, I feel like my mid-section grows almost every single day, but then again I guess it's probably suppose to be that way. The main thing I love about being pregnant is when I'm done at the gym and I have sweat all around my tummy like some old guy...YUCK! ha ha. But I know it will all be worth it in the end and already cannot wait to meet our little guy!!! And just see what he looks like! I really have dreamed about this day ever since I was a little girl!...I mostly just wanted to be just like my MOM:) so thanks for being such an amazing example!

So the ultrasound went really well and baby pace was not shy at all to let us know that he was a boy!...but when it came to getting a 3D image of his face/profile, forget it! He has long skinny arms and legs so he will probably be tall like Marco....ha lucky kid! We have a few names picked out and I told Marcus that he could be the one to choose out of the list we had so we will have to see what he comes up with:)

Tam's wedding & 2 Years!!!

This last weekend was Tam and Seths wedding and tam going through the temple for the first time! What a fun weekend...we loved spending time with all the family that was able to be there and help with stuff! Now my mom can relax- but everything went so smoothly I thought, and Marcus and I had a blast!!! Tam! I am so excited for you and Seth hope you guys had so much fun on your honeymoon!

Marcus and I have been married for 2 years now- and I still don't feel like it has been that long! I don't know where I would be without this Man! He is my whole life and we are so excited for all the changes that are happening this year...we cannot wait! I think this year will go by even faster than the past two years just because we have so much to look forward to and keep us busy! For our honeymoon we went down to Vegas Thursday night and stayed at the Monte Carlo Hotel and ate at PF Changs which was amazing! The next day we did some shopping and then headed to St. George to stay the night so Marcus could take the GRE the next morning! He did amazing...I Married such a smart guy(I think so at least:)! But we had a great weekend and made some great memories!

K so I know it has been forever but it seems like Christmas was just yesterday...So I guess I will play catch-up! I mean my sister with two children finds time to blog!!! I definitely do not have any excuses. Ha.

Valentines Day was great!!! Sometimes it's hard with my birthday being the whole weekend before Vday but Marcus was really good to make it special! I worked and he had school all day but still insisted on making dinner for me...When I came home he surprised me with Tilapia!!! I really love that fish and haven't had it in forever he was so thoughtful to think of making it for me! What a sweet guy I have! Then we watched Valentines Day (the movie)! I thought it was a perfect night!

So I forgot to take pics of the lamps before we re-finished them but I got them on KSL for ten dollars as a set and they were a beautiful brass, but just didn’t really go with the colors that I had in mind…so Marcus helped me fix that problem! This last weekend we went out found a pillow, some shades(which one of the shades cost more than the 2 lamps together but oh well), and some spray paint to match and went to work! Marcus did an awesome job at painting the lamps I think they turned out just how I wanted! thanks for all your help Hun!

I am so excited for Christmas but have a hard time buying decorations for our little apartment so I try to think of little things that I can do to make it feel more like Christmas without so much stuff that I have no room to store…I thought I was being pretty creative until I look at other blogs and see crafts that you are all making and then I don’t even want to post the pic but oh well! And I love Bath and body works Winter Candy Apple sent and had to get the candle in it so that is the other helpful part of my center piece + it smells like Christmas:) MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! p.s. thanks for the cute card Betty I love the colors and they match perfect with the candy canes!

Congrats you guys! You make such a cute couple! So excited to have Krista in our “Friend” Family:) Ha thanks for picking such a sweet girl Derek…can’t wait to get to know you better girl! This was such a busy but fun day/weekend, we met at the Draper temple at 8":30am for the ceremony which was amazing(love going to temple weddings now that I am married…one of my favorite things to do). Then to the luncheon which was just perfect! Then traveled down to the reception that evening in Bicknell (one of those little towns in Utah, I had never even heard of the place ha). We stayed the night with Dallan, Aysia and Jake and drove home the next morning! The weekend was a blast…minus the snow on our drive home…My least favorite thing about the winter months! Love the snow but hate driving in it, especially down big mountains with large trucks passing you and you trying to pass them without being snow blown off the roads! Needless to say we made it home safe! Hope you guys had an Awesome Honeymoon!

So I'm still in the process of decorating our room...just getting stuff as I find it or in this case am given the stuff! I help clean this man's house 4 times a month and last weekend he asked me if I knew anyone who needed some night stands? ha I was like, YES...Me! So I brought them home and Marcus and I decided to do black! We are kinda rookies at this whole refurnishing old things and making them look pretty so we thought this would be the easiest way! So the weather couldn't have been more perfect throughout this week to get them done and while we were at it we decided to paint our dresser, since we have been wanting to since we were married! So I headed to the DI at the beginning of this week and picked up some old sheets for a couple bucks so we wouldn't paint our patio black and Marcus went to work! I think they turned out really nice and am really pleased with the outcome! Thanks for all your hard work Marco! Couldn't have done it without ya! Yesterday my mom helped me out by picking up some lamps that we found on KSL (thanks again mom) So we will do some more painting when those come:) and I will post more pictures!

This is a vase I found at the DI a few months ago and am barely getting around to painting! I need to find things to fill it with but I think it turned out quite nice:)

Just a quick pic before we headed out for a movie one weekend! I was wearing heals so that's why I am like as tall as Marco! I know it has been forever since I've blogged so I'm slowly catching up. I need to start taking more pictures so that is my new goal! Marcus switched his Graduate school to PA now so we are way excited about that! I know he will do great! And not too much else has really changed except I cannot believe that it will be November tomorrow! But am excited for this month because this month my little brother Ty will hit his year mark for his mission! Way to go Bud!!! Keep up all your hard work!

Knarraville Falls 2010

So this was a way fun hike and if you live down south and haven’t gone I suggest you try it out! Anyway, one day I came home from work and Marcus wanted to go on this hike when we had a free day! I was pretty excited. He got all information and directions off the internet and we headed up one Friday Morning The hike had lots of fun things to look at and changed all the time but make sure you wear shoes you can get wet if you do go! and by the end of the hike it turns into a split canyon so don’t go if it looks like it’s going to storm but it is really cool once you get up that far…I have never been in a split canyon so it was a cool experience! This was kind of our last little thing we did before school started again. Marcus is doing OChem this semester so it should be a fun one for him! But we are excited that school is coming and going by. Marcus reminded me yesterday that by this time next year he would hopefully be flying to interviews for Dental School which is really exciting! Love you Babe! Keep up the hard work!

2,000 Flushes

So about a week ago Marcus took me out to this place that his friend Dallan told him about called 2,000 flushes located just outside of Cedar City! The whole way there he just kept telling me how it was pretty much one of the coolest little places he has seen and how the water was so blue… I sat there thinking he was going to take me to this nasty sewer dump (which I think anyone would have considering the name of the place). Much to my surprise it really was an awesome blue and the water was really blue! I guess it is an old copper mine, but you can swim in the water just not very often or it would do something to your skin. I don’t know if I will ever do it though ha I am too chicken! but it really would be fun and scary at the same time! Maybe someday we will go. We didn’t get to stay very long because about five minutes after we got there the wind started blowing really hard and it actually blew in a storm but it was fun to go see and I’m so glad we did!

My week off from work at the end of July! I got the opportunity to go spend the week with my family and help shay get ready for her new baby! 4th of July and Softball

The 4th of July just leaving to try to go golfing with the boys down in Provo. We slept at Shay and Tylers with Shawn and Gabe to try to get up early to make it to the golf course before the parade started but NO! there was a marathon or some kind of run going on and all the roads were blocked off so there was no way out. Ha yeah ruined Marcus's morning but he got over it when I stopped the car in Fillmore on our way home and let him golf a round at the course there. It was fun but kinda hot! In these two pics there are hot air balloons behind us which I thought were pretty cool! It was a fun 4th of July and really nice to have a five day weekend! Loved it!!!

This is Marcus up to bat down at the Heat Stroker all night softball tournament in St. George. This is something that him and his friends have all gotten together and done this summer since they have all been home from their missions, and it has been a lot of fun! Marcus also played on a city league here in Cedar City but it is over now and I think they start up again in September or something. His games give us something to do so that's fun and it's nice to get out and catch up with people.

K so Zions was a blast and it was so nice to get away and have a little camping vacation! The weather was AMAZING! and I didn't want to leave, except for the fact that I was way excited to come back to my bed:) They had a new Miniature golf course at the lodge and it was awesome we had so much fun and I almost beat Marco when we played but not quite, oh well I can't win at everything ha.

Playing Catch-up!

So Marco and I are moving, but just to some apartments that are a little closer to town here in Cedar City! but we will sure miss our duplex that we have lived in, and our ward we will really miss as well! I will let everyone know our new address as soon as I do ha. Marcus is going to take a summer class that starts the beginning of July and ends the first of August. He has just been selling Satellites this summer, and he is doing awesome! I am still just working at the same dentist office! but we are definitely taking advantage of our weekends and having a way fun summer! Lovin' the hot weather:) Can't get enough!
Some of the fam at Grandma Shirley's grave. It was nice to go there and think back about her. I don't remember much because I was quite young when she died but I do remember for some reason that when she gave us gum she would always break the stick in half and give the kids half! Such a cute lady!These are pictures from Memorial Day! Marcus and I were able to head up to Cedar Hills for the long weekend! We had a blast hangin with the family! On Monday afternoon we went to the Cedar Hills golf course driving range with Tyler and Shay and hit some balls! Shay and I just wanted to drive the carts around but our honest husbands didn't think we should:)Good thing we have them there to keep us in line! ha

Marcus and I teach the 4 year olds at church! and today we had our Easter lesson since it is General Conference next weekend. We always try to have something for the kids to color after the lesson since that is what they usually look forward to the most the whole class long so this week I brought Easter bunnies to color and we had a few extra so Marcus and I colored some! I just scanned these onto our computer so they don't look as well as in real life but marcus's was perfect and mine...ha well lets just say that it is not easy to stay in the lines with old crayons for me at all ha I don't know how kids do it! Okay so these are some pics from our vacation last weekend to Arizona! It was absolutely a blast and so so nice to get away for awhile! We got to steal dallan and aysia off of their honeymoon on thursday night and they came with us for the remainder of the weekend and we kinda celebrated our year anniversary and their honeymoon at the same time! It was so nice to just relax and hang out with Marcus, we love traveling which is a good thing when you live as far away from family as we do. well they finally tied the knot! We drove with marcus parents down to Monticello Utah a few weekends ago for the big day! It was fun getting to go to a wedding ceremony in the temple that wasn't our own especially on the weekend of our one year anniversary! I am so blessed to have such an amazingly handsome, loving, smart, awesome husband who knows me so very well and who I know would do absolutely anything for me! Well another successful birthday for me has come and gone and it was a blast being able to be with marcus throughout the whole thing and Valentines day What an awesome husband I have! He spoiled me that is for sure! He drove me up to Provo for dinner at Macaroni Grill then the Valentines day movie and then to my parents for the night! My wonderful mother made me a birthday breakfast which was AMAZING!!!thanks so much mom for doing that for me:) I love you! then we went down to The pace's for the rest of my birthday celebration! It was such a fun weekend and I had a blast! We had birthday cake at Erin's house on Saturday night that Betty made for me! it was really good but I thought the house was gonna burn down considering how many candles were on fire on top of the cake!

K so a couple of weeks ago I had a whole 10 days off of work because Dr. Sorensen went on a cruise. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to think of things to keep me busy while Marcus was at school but it was the exact opposite thanks to my sweet family. Marcus didn't have school on Monday because of Martin Luther King day so we were able to have an extra long weekend! I love just relaxing and spending time with my husband couldn't think of anyone I would rather spend my spare time with! Tuesday night Mom, Dad, Gabe, LaRita and Shirley got here, to Cedar City, at about nine that night. The next day we went and visited Scott and went to lunch, then visited my Aunt Susan and her family in St. George. That night we were able to play some games before bed. They went home on Thursday around noon. I'm not going to lie our two bedroom duplex felt so much more tiny with them all here but I absolutely loved every minute. Thanks for coming guys!
Shayla, Tammy, and Brooklyn came to stay on Friday till Sunday, on Friday night we played some games and watched a movie and invited Ty's GF Cassidi over to hang with us since she is down here at SUU going to school. And she ended up staying the night because there had been a pretty bad snow storm and the roads were way bad! So she got to stay with us and do face masks in the morning after breakfast! I had so much fun with my sistas and neice..." B" is so dang cute and I'm so glad she came to keep us entertained! Tammy wasn't feeling so great at all so that was a bummer but I'm glad she is doing better now! Thanks so much for coming down girls I know it is a long drive for all of you but I hope it was worth it because you definitely made my week, that's for sure! I don't know know what I would have done without you all! thanks again! I love you all!

Here is our Christmas tree which we took down yesterday!

About a week before christmas Marcus took me down to St. George for a little date and some last min. shopping:) Afterward we went out to the Tuacahn to see this live nativity that he had heard about. It was only like 20min long and just the basic story of Jesus' birth. They even had a real camel which I thought was pretty sweet!

Marcus and I spent Thanksgiving this year at the Pace's! Brook made the turkey and it was Amazing! Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorite holidays, who doesn't like to eat right! On Friday the girls planned a get-away which involved some shopping relaxing and staying overnight at a hotel with just the girls! I'm so lucky to have In-laws that I love!!! So Kara got lucky on our little trip and won a gift card at Forever 21 for $100! We got to go pick out clothes for her and see how cute they were on her I took pics with my camera but promised her I wouldn't post any! Anyways, it was a way fun trip, hopefully we will be able to do it in the years to come! I loved being with my handsome hubby on Thanksgiving this year I am so grateful for him and love our life together! I am and we are so blessed!

So at the first of this week we had quite a scare...at least I did! It was a regular chilly Tuesday evening at the softball fields here in Cedar Marcus was playing with his buddies on their mens team like every Tuesday for the last 2 months. It was an important tournament game, and there team was undefeated! So pretty much the last play of the game the other team is up to bat, Marcus was playing Short Stop like usual. I'm just sitting there with the girls and all of a sudden Marcus gets knocked to the ground I instantly stood up and water filled my eyes so worried about what had just happened. The batter hit a line drive and Marcus lost the ball in the lights and it hit him just above his right eye! Marcus has such great friends when I went out there they were all doing their best to make sure he was ok, it went from Trent telling me things I should do to make sure he didn't have a cuncusion to Dallan offering to get the others to give Marcus a blessing! I was so grateful! Even men who Marcus didn't know were grabbing him ice packs and ibuprofen, then helped me get him to the car to take him to the ER to get him all checked out! So scary for me because the only times I can remember going to the hospital growing up is when my sister was diagnosed with diabetes and Gabriel had a horrible ear infection, and for births of babies of course! We were so relieved when all they had to do was place some neosporrin and a bandade above his eyebrow, they gave Marcus an ice pack and we were on our way!
I am just so grateful that it was not more serious, where if the ball would have hit him pretty much anywhere else it could have been way more crutial! Thanks to everyone for all your help! Marcus is doing great! The funning thing is he doesn't even really remember that he has a beautiful shiner on his right eye until people ask him to tell them the story of what happened, or tell him that he needs a new girlfried:)

Train Ride!

Last weekend Marcus and I hitched a ride with his parents down to Vegas to visit Kelly, Gary and their two Handsome boys! We were able to be there to celebrate Boston and Prestons 3rd Birthday with them, and that was so fun! We also got to go out and do a little, much needed, winter shopping so that was nice! These pictures I am posting are of us all on a train ride because the boys love Thomas the Train and that's what they decided the wanted to do, so cute! It was pretty cool, just like a 45 min train ride kinda just to see what it felt like to ride a train. It was definitely a first for me and all I can say is I can't imagine riding cross the country on one- that would take forever! But thanks Gary and Kelly for letting us come!

Road Trip

At the first of this month Marcus and I were able to go back and visit his mission in Boise, ID with his parents! We had such a good time! We left on a Thursday evening and drove up to Kara's house in Treemonton, UT...stayed there the night, so fun to spend some time with them and see her cute kids! We left the next morning, and drove to visit some of the few people from his mission that made an impact on his life. It was so good to finally put names with faces. We stayed in Boise in a beautiful hotel almost directly across the street from the Boise Temple (which is so amazing, I absolutely loved it!). Something funny that always happens when are with Brook and Betty is that nobody will ever choose where they want to eat so we always spend so much time just coming down to one place that everyone decides sounds good, that was an experience since we ate out for lunch and dinner almost every day! ha oh well! We started our way back on Sunday and drove all day, making a few stops here and there along the way to visit more people from the mission. It was such a fun trip and we had so many good experiences. Thanks Brook and Betty for making this trip possible! We loved spending time with you!

It was definitely an experience, we ate: Fried Bananas, eggs, black beans, flour tortillas, and like homemade hot chocolate(not sure how she made it)! It was a Honduranean meal and actually really good, the family is from Honduros. They were such nice people!

Hey! Sorry it has been awhile, everyone who has ever moved knows how it is trying to get everything settled and technology back up and working:) ha. We have been down here almost a month now so we are getting more and more use to it as each day goes by! I am getting more comfortable with my job as each week passes, and having a Lady dentist for a boss really isn't all that bad, I actually really like it! Marcus has started back up with his school, and as far as I know, loving his classes. He really likes it here so that is definitely a plus!
Marcus and I went to our right ward for the first time yesterday, after going to the wrong ward the first week then Dillon's farewell the next then the temple dedication. We were able to make it! I was surprised to see my cousin Sandy and her family, I am so excited to have some family in the ward that will be cool! We felt really at home and everyone was so nice and welcoming!

Hey I just wanted to let everyone know how amazing of a sister I have!... For the last 8 weeks we have been training for a 10k(6.2 miles), some days I would get to run with her and the other times she stayed strong and did it herself! She went from walking and running frequently because her knee had been hurting ever since she had her beautiful baby girl, to running fairly long distances every day almost! So last Friday night I went and mapped out our run for the next morning...Shay met at my house @ 7 in the morning so we could get it over with before it got to hot! We ran it in an hour and 2 min. and we ran the whole way! I was so proud of Shay! That was the longest both of us had ever ran at one time! Anyways...quite an accomplishment! Thanks for helpin me do it Shla! I am going to miss runnin with you when I move! I love ya sis! :)

This 4th of July Brook bought tickets for the SLBees game for everyone! I'm going to be honest, it was about 100 times better than the derby! Thanks Brook for making it possible for us to come!

Hey Yall! Just thought I would write a little about what has been going on in the lives of M & M :) Sorry it has been awhile. Anyways, Marcus and I are both enjoying working this summer! He is doing summer sales for a company called Elevate(linksys by cisco)-they do phone, internet, and direct TV! He is loving it, most days anyways. You all know how those summer sales go. Marcus is really a AWESOME salesman, he does a great job! So if any of you need any of those services I'm sure that he could hook you up! The company really has some great deals! I'm still at the same dentist office just doing what I love!
So coming up in August Marcus and I are planning our move down to Cedar City and SUU! We are pretty excited for it! It will be such a good experience and really good for the both of us I think! SUU has a really good Pre-Dental Program that Marcus is really excited about! I have a job waiting for me with a Female Dentist so that will definitely be a change for me! She seems like a nice lady though so I am anxious to see what it will be like!

This past weekend was pretty fun! Brook and Betty came up Saturday so Brook and Marcus could go to Priesthood session together, then afterward we had a pretty difficult time finding some place to go eat(ha like we always do). But we finally found the place at about 9:10 at night. They stayed the night and we went to conference the following morning in Salt Lake! I have never been to conference in the "new" conference center so it was a wonderful experience! Except I did feel so bad for all the protesters! Anyways, thanks Brook for making it all possible and sharing your tickets with us!

The funnest week of my life so far! Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen, but I mostly want to thank Marcus for finally making me the happiest girl in the whole wide world!

Sorry it has taken me so long to update but all of you who have been married im sure will understand. Marcus and I were married on the 14th of March so already a week and a half ago. but it has been so fun and gone by so fast! Our wedding was unbelievable I am so excited to finally be sealed to my best friend for the rest of eternity! Marcus took me to San Diego for our Honeymoon and it was just paradise! I didn't ever want to leave! We were able to do so much fun stuff! Here are just a couple pics of our vacation but we have so many more! Thanks to everyone for helping make our wedding possible!

Tonight Marcus Decided to take me on a quick trip to the Beautiful Mexico! For our Friday night Date:) It was a blast! I loved that he was able to use his Spanish I love to hear him speak it! Anyways, we sat down to eat and this other spanish couple sat on the same wood picnic table, just at the other end. Marcus had fun talking with them, and the lady was so nice so I had Marcus ask her to take a picture of us. She did a pretty good job!
